Training is very important to get optimum use and understand the operation of GridtoGo™ units, so we recently organised training at our head office in Rugby for A-Plant staff.
We also offered practical training in our workshop which helped to cover any questions operators were having with units on site.
We’ve been extremely busy here at Off Grid Energy. Here’s another batch of GridtoGo units ready to leave the workshop.
Production of the GridtoGo units has increased dramatically as the portable sets are deployed to various sites around the UK.
Because the GridtoGo unit is a clean and silent alternative to a generator it can be used anywhere. It uses energy stored in its batteries and can incorporate renewable forms of energy to top up the cells. Our customers have also found they have made great savings in fuel costs.
Grid to Go is being used by Balfour Beatty Utility Services Ltd to provide low carbon power generation for high voltage transmission maintenance and upgrade work in Kent. Significant cost savings have been achieved together with substantial reductions in carbon emissions.
