Training is very important to get optimum use and understand the operation of GridtoGo™ units, so we recently organised training at our head office in Rugby for A-Plant staff.
We also offered practical training in our workshop which helped to cover any questions operators were having with units on site.
Off Grid Energy had a fantastic 2013 and we’re all looking forward to more of the same this year.
We have just recently attended the Executive Hire Show at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and have several more events we will be exhibiting at later this year, more news on these to follow.
Off Grid Energy will be attending the Construction and Design Platform at the 5* Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on the 28th & 29th of October hosted by Platform Events UK.
Each of the Buyers that attend have new build projects, refurbishments and supply chain needs to discuss.
There are some fantastic opportunities to get in front of Buyers attending the event such as Dixons Retail, Artisan UK, John Graham Construction, The John Lewis Partnership, Fitness First, Circle Health, Pets at Home, The Unite Group, Tesco and several Universities to name but a few.
We will have company representatives on hand to answer any questions on the Grid to Go units and their effective energy savings ability.

We have had a very successful appearance at the Start Up Hub as our Director Danny Jones explains. “It was an amazing opportunity to see how big businesses interact with politicians. It was also extremely useful, not just for visibility but a chance to meet sponsors like Fujitsu and attend fringe meetings on energy and carbon reduction”.
Our Grid to Go hybrid generator was described by ERA judges as a ‘necessary product that cleverly combines the benefits of lower energy use with reduced wear and tear on generators’.
This platform gave us a valuable opportunity to market Grid to Go in front of delegates, national press, company representatives and senior conservative politicians.
Off Grid Energy has been selected to showcase our Grid to Go product at this years Conservative Party Conference Start Up Hub to be held in Manchester from Sunday 29th September.

We’ve been extremely busy here at Off Grid Energy. Here’s another batch of GridtoGo units ready to leave the workshop.
Production of the GridtoGo units has increased dramatically as the portable sets are deployed to various sites around the UK.
Because the GridtoGo unit is a clean and silent alternative to a generator it can be used anywhere. It uses energy stored in its batteries and can incorporate renewable forms of energy to top up the cells. Our customers have also found they have made great savings in fuel costs.
Grid to Go was featured at the Barhale Innovation Day in Walsall today. The event is an opportunity for innovative products that have recently been introduced to Barhale to be presented more widely within the company so that utilisation can be maximised and the benefits of those products exploited to the maximum.
Grid to Go was demonstrated in conjunction with our rental partner.
Off Grid Energy were very privileged to be invited to the the PNDC in Cumbernauld on it’s official opening in May. Our Director Danny Jones was there to demonstrate our Grid to Go hybrid generator and explain its benefits to Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
